About Us

The Trait Discovery Area of Inquiry (AOI) of the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Crop improvement aims to serve as a bridge between the Priority Setting AOI and the Genomics, Phenomics, and Informatics AOIs. We focus on facilitation of biologically relevant goal setting and hypothesis testing among the Centers of Innovation. Through effective Trait Discovery, a breeding program will be better equipped with the conceptual tools of science necessary for rapid advancements in breeding for improved traits.
